Caloswords was founded by Detroit-based artist Yasha Nimje with a simple belief: the most memorable experiences are personal.
What began with a love for lettering and hand artistry has grown into a creative practice centered around bringing people together through personalized art and meaningful experiences.
Today, Yasha works with luxury brands, experiential agencies, corporate teams, and private clients — creating everything from live personalization at brand activations to bespoke gifting and hands-on creative workshops.
At the heart of every project is the same idea: creating something personal enough to be remembered.
Whether a guest is watching their fragrance bottle being engraved, receiving a gift created especially for them, or sitting down with colleagues to learn calligraphy or painting, the goal is to turn an ordinary interaction into a meaningful experience.
Yasha has brought her artistry to intimate VIP gatherings, luxury retail events, corporate experiences, and large-scale activations, collaborating with some of the world's most recognized brands.
Based in Detroit, Yasha frequently works in Chicago and travels throughout the United States and Canada.
